Game Thread: 8/29 Lynn @ Vogey

Not a single Killer-P in the lineup today. Replaced by the Killer-Bs. Posey sits after the HBP yesterday and taking more shots behind the dish. He is available for PHing and should start tomorrow. I am more concerned with Vogey/Susac. They have not appeared to work well together in their last couple games.

If this were a video game, I would go with Blanco/Aoki/Duffy/Byrd/Belt/Tomlinson/Susac/EA. Blanco protecting Byrd does not do much for me. I would rather put Belt behind him.

Agree with you. I just don't like Belt at #3, and I think Duffy is a better #3 than a #2. Heck, with the hot stick, why not

Certainly possible, but he is doing fine lower in the lineup right now. I don't want to mess with that. I like Bochy's strategy of keeping the kids out of the pressure lineup positions for a while. Let them get comfortable with the whole "MLB-thing" before you put them into specific-job lineup spots.

A DP was probably not a possibility there, but Tomlinson/Adrianza does not look nearly as fluid as Panik/Crawford.
