I have not looked at who needs to be protected yet (there was a brief convo on this a couple weeks back), but I cant imagine EA's 40-spot will be ANY hindrance to keeping even a moderate prospect at this point. No way can he be an MLB utility player to start the season next year.

His bat is non-existent and while he hasnt been a liability in the field, it hasnt been what I was expecting. He is nowhere near Crawford.
