He's gonna get plenty more time this year because they don't really have a choice. There's still some chance he gets back to mid year form, but my personal opinion now is he probably won't. Would LOVE for you to serve me a big steaming pile of crow.

They have plenty if wiggle room on the 40, so if they want to see what Heston or Blackburn have, they can do it.

Cain and EA are still not on the 60.

That's what I would have thought 3 days ago. But with all the rumblings since yesterday's game, I am not so sure.

They would still need to clear a 25 spot, though, and none if the pitchers deserve to be sent down (except Timmeh), so you are probably right. We are only talking about a week, though, and Petit has certainly earned another start.

I am not sure Timmah can do the Eck thing. He does not throw strikes. His pitches move so much, he really seems to have no idea where they are going. When he was throwing 95, he could dial it back to get more control. But now his fastball barely registers 90 on good days, and sits mostly at 88. He dials that back, and he's in Zito territory. Heck, why not teach Timmah the knuckler. Wakefield was less than a mediocre pitcher until he learned it, and he won 200 games.

Lincecum has always come through when it counted. 2 WS Championships. I still believe in Tim Lincecum and he will come out of this. He is 10-9 this year and has showed some progress. He will be back and you can take that to the bank.

Wins-losses is an incredibly flawed stat to be losing. If Lincecum scores six runs, team scores seven. He gets a win but pitched like crap. If he allowed two runs and lost by 1, it's same thing

Since I know you spelled both Olive OYL and MARILYN Monroe wrong, I'd say I do.

We're just saying, Timmy was great, but he's just not anymore. He might not even be ok. This happens to ALL players. And we're also saying you can't point at the WS years as your 'proof' that he's ok.

Also, in 2012 he was a big part of the WS win....from the pen. He had already started sucking as a starter.
