And I've already said he may very well get more starts (7 left, I think) because we don't have any other options. If he can pitch well in 3-4 of them it's sort of ok for your 5th starter. But he may not be able to.

Giants blow lead and fall 14-6 in the D.C. Bermuda triangle
Warm the plane up the boys are home after one of the most disappointing losses of the year falling 14-6 after leading 5-0 today. Vogey held it together for 5.1 innings and deserved the win but Affeldt and the rest of the bullpen just caved in and it got ugly. A 4-2 road trip would of been nice but 3-3 will have to do and this team needs some home cooking as soon as possible. There was some talk of the Nats stealing signs today as Posey looked pissed in the 9th but that's baseball and if they did steal signs the Giants have to recognize that and adjust.
Biggest home stand of the year starts tomorrow and it is no time to feel sorry for themselves. Time to suck it up and get it done at home and the frowns will be turned upside down. Band of Brothers unite.
