I was just in the process of creating this...

Panik's back is apparently becoming a bit of an issue. Bad timing. But he still hit 2 big doubles last night, bad back and all.

If Leake does well today (7 IP), I think it is time to go to 12 pitchers and call up Tomlinson. That would take some extra pressure off Panik.

Shit like this just makes me angry. 24 year old rook on the mound, 10+ ERA and we are hacking away. 5 pitch inning.

Fucking TERRIBLE.

Giants facing a guy with control problems coming off TJ, and let him have a 5- pitch first inning?

That makes no sense. Especially given the fact that the Rangers have the worst bully in the AL.

Rangers trying to be gracious hosts and returning the favor.

The Giants are more gracious guests, though.

Thanks to our trusty lead off hitter, with no power, that goes up there thinking he is gonna go upper deck on the first pitch.

I do not fully understand why he is not on the DL.

Maybe he is hurt in a way that rest will not help the situation. If this is the case, than OK. But he is hurting this team, and it looked like Craw was frustrated with him that inning.

Leakey first inning, for sure.

I've got a feeling I am not going to approve this game.

Agreed. I am still trying to figure out why Blanco has been the odd man out. I understand we have faced a couple leftys, but I still think he is the better option at this point. At least for a couple days.

The strategy that inning was better, there just weren't any results.

But still. 2 IP on 15 pitches.

There should at least be a time split between Blanco and Pagan. Or more late-inning replacements.

This goes to Boch. It takes a lot for a vet to lose his job. And I ink that is the proper strategy to employ, especially in the regular season. Everyone knows their role and nobody presses if they get in a slump.

However, come postseason, all bets are off. And come 2016, I think Pagan will either be gone, or the #4 OF. Blanco or a newb will be the starting CFer.

Slowly getting better.

Either Posey is really smart and knows Leake very well already, or Leake is just trusting Posey to throw whatever he signals because his pace is extremely quick.

I took a quick look: 54/89 first half games were not shitshows. So 60+% of the time, yes.
You have already declared this a shitshow, and we have not given up any runs yet. I am sure that at least 70% of those 54 games will have a post by you declaring full diapers.

A base hit does not a shitshow make.
