Can't believe that Bumgarner put himself in that spot to give up the GS in the first place. At least they can't blow another 4+ run lead tonight. That loss to Baltimore on Sunday has done a lot of damage.

The horror of what could have happened was avoided, thank goodness. Huge 2-out 2 RBI by Posey in the 8th. Hopefully, a game like this will be the start of a hot streak.

No problem about the ban, I would've deserved it for that comment! The horror of the whole thing would have been if the Giants had lost a 7th game this season with a 4+ run lead. Much-needed win, and disaster avoided!

Fair enough, but I felt a lot more than relief. It was a rollercoaster, but way fewer bad parts (the GS, Smith and Gearrin), than good ones (everything after). Coming back right away after the GS cockpunch was AWESOME.

Again, I just don't see how one doesn't enjoy that game as pure entertainment.

Do you enjoy watching another team's pitching do well? I don't mean vs the Giants, but say if ESPN is showing Kershaw or Scherzer will you tune in and enjoy it if they kick ass?

And you may have answered this before, which do you prefer, a 2-1 Giants loss (no errors) or a 10-8 Giants win?

I'd always prefer a win to a loss, but I'd enjoy watching the 2-1 loss more.
