Bortles will be better this year. Cousins took a step back last year too. It happens. They can't all be like Wussell Wilson. But to write off those two because they had one bad season, is an ill-advised idea.

Anything you may have perceived as a "good season" prior to last year, was a bunch of numbers compiled in blowout losses

Uh huh. I already acknowledged that he had a bad year last year. 2015 - good. 2016 - not so good. So maybe the 2016 Bortles shows up again this year. And, maybe not. Maybe the 2015 Bortles shows up. As I stated before, he has already demonstrated that he has the ability. He just has to re-discover it.

Right now he has one game in which he threw two bad passes but still completed 8-13. And he has one receiver whining about one pass he threw in practice. And he has one reporter on his ass who needed to meet a deadline with a story.

Hopefully LSU taught him how to play in the NFL because the track record of the Jaguars developing players is about as bad as it gets

Cloudy, occasional rain. tough to tell as of now, but everything seems to be moving north and south of boston. i think they get it in with a possible delay.

Both losses could potentially be looked back at as season changers

They started hitting better about a month ago and then ridiculously better about 2 weeks ago. The 2nd Red Sox game looked like so many others but the turning point seems to be Molina calling out Matheny and the trade deadline coming and going.

Wainwright is out there pitching with 8mph or so missing on his velocity. That can't happen.
