They started hitting better about a month ago and then ridiculously better about 2 weeks ago. The 2nd Red Sox game looked like so many others but the turning point seems to be Molina calling out Matheny and the trade deadline coming and going.

Wainwright is out there pitching with 8mph or so missing on his velocity. That can't happen.

Rosenthal Injury will be crippling......But that is the best run organization in sports, how the F they are in a pennant race out of nowhere, never fails, they are never irrelevant

You just have to sign up. You don't have to buy the subscription. If you do in the future, it's $109.99 (or at least it was this year) for the full season or $24.99/mo. I've been doing the yearly subscription for 6 years and I love it. I have access to it at home and at work, so I get my money's worth. Not to mention I live in NJ, so I get to watch the Sox regularly and I do like to watch the rest of the league. You can watch four games at once on your computer, which is pretty awesome.

I think they can survive that but on the off chance they make the playoffs, if he has something like TJ and isn't there then it'll be a notable downgrade for the team.

You are quite the stat geek. It's all about stats with you. What the 'stats' said about Peyton Manning in his first three years would have indicated that he would have a horrible career. Stats aren't always good indications for the future of a young player.
