Bucket is bucket, no team restrictionsUmm, let me think about that one for a min, what do you think? I like it but we are really setting alot of obstacals in the way...
One per team Max or no?
Well, each bucket has 4 teams and you pick 3 from each bucket
Rookie 79 through Rookie 99Well if we do they just had to play in those years we might as well just have an open draft no?

Not really. You open it up a little more, but not near as much as an open draft.Well if we do they just had to play in those years we might as well just have an open draft no?

I disagree, it's a fantastic pool....every positionidk I am making a list now and it isn't a huge pool plus restricting 4 players per bucket makes the pool smaller especially the deeper you go
Man, I will tell you...with Easy having surgery tomorrow, I researched 79-99 today so I'd have a list...everyone will have multiple time pro bowlers at every spot and several HOFers from that periodQuestion, instead of having 21 years should we do 25 and have it be 1975 - 1999?
Not big enough to have to set a cap on it, imo.79 rookie through 99 rookie isn't a very large pool IMO

The more I think about it, the more I think it is a little overkill to have the year restrictions plus the cap plus the bucket, which is supposed to be the main point of this draft. Unless the cap is VERY small, aimed at having to select a solid amount of $1-$3 range guys, I would say scrap one or the other. Or increase the range.
But this is all just my opinion and I will do whatever the group feels is best.
Also, we should hash out the starting requirements now. It seems like the last few football drafts we have started to argue how many players and at what positions (mostly how many "subs" for different packages) well into the first few rounds, then talk about how we need to do it differently for the next draft. Well, we are at the next draft, so let's do it differently!
