What they did to Dracula when they made that movie was terrible. One of my favorite books. That movie wasn't even close
Wait, it is Stoker isn't it? hmmmmm coincidence? I think not!
They took one of the greatest books of all time. And tried to turn it into a love story. Changed the bulk of the book including that strange ending.I love the book Gary Oldman is great but that movieYeah the movie had some weird parts - that's for sure. Dracula Dead and Loving It was a better flick.

Dracula dead and loving it is a classic tho
It will always be my favorite. But I love the way it was filmed. The use of shadows was brilliant. But you know I loved Hitchcock's work tooNosferatu > All the other "dracula" movies
This is true I'm trying to think of another Princess Bride was definitely close to the bookI mean, name a book the movie doesn't kill - not including The Princess Bride (though the book is still better).

Lord of the rings may have been my favorite growing up. I haven't read or seen Harry Potter yet. I probably should thoYeah, there aren't many. I just finished the first 4 Harry Potter movies - and all I got from them was that HBO should try to make that a 7 season tv series so that the story makes sense and doesn't jump around too much (and even they couldn't make it into a boob fest).

Ok, I thought of one... Of Mice & Men... It was a top notch book from Steinbeck but I actually liked the 1981 movie version with Robert Blake and Randy Quaid.
