Sometimes not being able to spend money is a blessing in disguise if you have people who know what they're doing.

The Padres have the lowest payroll in baseball. Looking at their roster I'm trying to figure out how the hell they spent over 53 million on the team. I mean the lineup is a joke. I'll be surprised if anybody reaches 15 HR's this year. Yes I realize Quentin is on the DL. The pitching staff already has two injuries in their starting rotation, Stauffer & Moseley.

Supposedly they have one of the best farm systems in baseball. They better bring up the kids because this team will be lucky to win 60 games as is.

Seven years of mediocrity

Seven years of incompetent general managing

Seven years of bumbling goaltenders

Seven years of no heart

And most importantly, seven years of no playoffs for Leafs fans. Every other team in the NHL has now made it since the lockout except for us. Even Columbus...COLUMBUS.

But hey, as long as MLSE makes money, who gives a fuck. Right guys?

I feel bad for you B&W. The leafs have a great fan base and lets hope they can turn things around. The Leafs and Sabres making the playoffs against each other would be awesome.
