There have been many debates surrounding what Washington does with the 5th pick in this years draft. We've all read about staying put or trading, but here's what I want to know. A simple prediction, at the end of it all, how many actual times will Washington select a player this year? The current count is 7.

I think it highly likely that we see a minimum of at least one trade down and possibly two.

Here’s an overall look at his drafts from 2005-09. His imprint likely was on the 2010 draft as well, but because he was gone, I'm not including it. I’ll break down each of his five drafts in the coming days. Some were good; one in particular was abysmal. But in general, McCloughan did a good job stocking the roster.

Here are some key notes and highlights from his drafts:

At least 9. We trade the first for one first, a second, and a 4th or 5th.

9 is a good number but it wont be our 1st rounder . the trade downs will happen later . could be wrong and i wont fall on my sword for it

I see 10 or 11 and not all of them from trading down. No further explanation at this point is forthcoming, here's a hint though, what did SM mean when he said that the team is not done with free agency? Could go with 8 or 9 if as I suspect a couple of them will be in next years draft.
