Sounds like he's not going to play this season, going to focus on "getting bigger, faster, stronger" for the 2016 season.

Mets are doing it the right way. Their starting rotation reminds me of the 2010 Giants: very young, mostly home-grown. If they ever find some offense, they could be something. Maybe trade one of those young pitchers for some offense. The guy pitching today, deGrom, could fetch them some nice offensive prospects. I feel like them and the Cubs are bound to make a deal. Cubs have all the young offense, Mets have the young pitching.
