I know I preached against this just a couple days ago...

But is there any chance we are sellers???

This team cannot do anything right right now.

Nah, this team will never be true "sellers". The Giants way isn't trading big guys mid-season. They save those for the offseason.

For instance, they wouldn't trade Belt midseason even if Posey and Susac are hitting well.

That dude Chapman from the Reds would look mighty tasty in a Giants uni

Can't pitch. (Romo, Casilla look worn out, not sharp)

Can't hit. (3 lousy hits, none for XBH)

Can't field. (3 errors?!?)

Nice game by Moses, though. He's really showing something. Or are the Mutts his version of Timmah's Padres?

Might have to go out and get a closer/late inning reliever. Lengthen that Pen a bit. I'm not as concerned with getting a bat, I'm comfortable rolling with what we have when Pence and Aoki return. But FYWW? is concerning.

edit: OR, start mining the plethora of electric relief pitching in our minor leagues.

With Strickland, Law, Hall, (maybe Crick now), Osich and others. I think the bullpen is fine to hold off on adding a closer.

I know...

Besides, who do we have, that is available, that another team would want?

Bum ain't going anywhere.
Posey ain't going anywhere.
Panik ain't going anywhere.
Crawford ain't going anywhere.
Duffy ain't going anywhere.

No one wants Pagan.
No one wants the Tims.
Casilla MAY have some value, but not enough to warrant a trade.

Nah, outside of 2 starts in Coors field (which is death to the sinker ball), he has an ERA in the 2's.

How many times have we fielded our primary starting line up this year? Between 15 and 18? And what were we in those games? Something like 13 and 5? That hurts.....

He threw a gem against the Astros, and has generally looked very good all season.

Well the big league team sucks right now, but the Baby Giants have been giving me a lot to like lately.

I love what we have seen from Heston.....especially when you consider he was forced into the mix early. I'd like to think he will be in the middle of our rotation for the next few years, at least. Let him settle in and get his 30 starts this year. No problem with that.

And we have two high-ceiling pitchers ready to graduate next year. The future looks good...

He's been a huge bright spot this year. Him and Duffy and Panik are saving the Giants a lot of money.
