Not sure what you can do when you can’t get and corner calls. You want him to throw a pitch right down Broadway? That’s essentially what the ump told him he had to do that inning.

Why not? None of the first hitters that inning are hitting over .250.

You can blame the ump on a batter or two, but eventually, the pitcher needs to adjust to the ump's zone.
