I think they should have overturned the call because of that. Even though the catcher did not "intentionally" block the basepath, his actions did so anyway. Not sure the rule has an "intention" clause. Morse never touched home plate, it appears.

Are there any stats about runners taking the extra base on hits? I wonder if the Giants are actually bad at that or if it is simply misleading anecdotal evidence.
