Since Sandoval's extremely ugly April, he has been far exceeding the .300, .820 OPS career numbers (something around .320, .880 OPS). Is it fair to say that he was pressing early in the season when the Giants were in the heaviest talks in contract extension? Maybe. They curbed talks until the offseason after failing to reach a deal in April.

I've noticed that he's had an awful time batting right-handed, and it's been like that for the last few years IIRC (the only season he seemed to do well was in 2009 when he was hitting everything. I remember he hit a walkoff against the Nats right-handed). I wonder if he should just make the switch to batting left-handed all the time.

He's a "career" .295 hitter because he has had two MONSTER seasons. The others were good, but no .300 AVG, no .500 SLG (hell, not even .450).

A team with a weak 3B will throw him lots of money - I hope it isn't the Giants. I would hope to never again see the Giants give (almost) *anybody* a "Zito contract".

Don't we have two Zito contracts on the roster? Posey, Cain?

I think 'Zito contract' pretty clearly means 'too-long too-rich contract to a guy not performing'.

Posey's definitely isn't. Cain's might be.

It's a plain fact you've been a puss of a fan, and extra shatty in game threads. That's plain as day and archived. The opinion part is how I choose to take it. I enjoy needling you, you've earned it. But you have every right to keep it going.

I do love Lebowski references. My kids have one of those plastic thingies with 6 buttons, each of which triggers a different snippet of dialogue from the movie.

Well, you've toned it down lately so I don't think anyone should have a problem with you now. It was pretty ugly when you spent every thread baiting us to pick which players we wanted to dump.

Well sheesh, isn't there an intermediate step? I certainly don't want you to take a break, as I said you've already knocked off the stuff that was really getting to some folks (including me), and if you want to be shatty in game threads that's your right, as long as you can take the ribbing you are due.

I doubt anyone wants you to stop posting...just own it, you're a big ol' shatmeister these days.

No! We're all adults here or we at least try and act like one. I personally don't care if you rant and rave through the whole GDT. I think you've earned the right to some degree. At times it reminds me of HWSNBN but that just makes me smile. No matter what you say or the position you take ... you are still TZILL. The TZILL I know is and always was a Giant fan and that's all that counts.

For me personally .... There are/were times you have so elequently stated exactly what I was feeling ... some people just have different styles of diapers and there ain't nothing wrong about that!
