Boch is all about that "2nd baseman must hit second" deal, but if Gomez becomes the hitter he can be, he's actually a really nice 2-hole hitter. Makes a ton of contact, you can ask him to do a lot with the bat.

I'd rather just put him on the legacy DL. It is SO SAD to see him sitting in the bullpen. Did you see the shots they got of him when the Giants were in SD? Just broke my heart.

Dyson is fast becoming my favorite Giant. He didn't look super crisp today, but he'll, he threw 2 innings yesterday.

Okert must be sent down, yes? His ERA is 7.32 and climbing. He has not been effective consistently.

I'd rather see Snelton given a shot (he's a lefty) or Reynolds (who is on the 7-day DL)

I like Snelten a lot. For those who don't read the Down on the Farm thread, Snelten is having an incredible season. He's a groundball MACHINE, and he generates a high percentage of swings and misses. He throws a 90-95 mph 2-seamer and a changeup/screwball.

I think there's a very good chance he's in SF at some point, Okert and Osich have been mediocre at best.
