I am sure sushi will analyze this better from someone who knows basketball better than me.. But I think I have the better players... and don't think that is very close... but have no clue whether they can play together...

I got me... and I hate jelly fishing...

I got me. Think in the first half my 1-3 are pretty comparable production wise with Milk, but my bigs would dominate. McAdoo and Daugherty would feast.

Second half I think falls close to a wash. He has a big advantage with Oscar over Hardaway, but I have a big advantage with Barkley over Jones. Hakeem always held over Robinson in their careers, so I have a slight edge there. With two post players though, I have guys who can space the floor with their shooting with Hardaway, Hornacek and Kiki. Also underrated part is my team is built to run the floor too.

Not sure I agree...You have the best overall player in Oscar, but top to bottom, I'd disagree.

I will admit, i am not a basketball person, so all i base my "knowledge" on is stats... I like to look at the basketball reference advanced stats of WS/48, VORP, OBPM, DBPM... But i also focus more on a players best seasons than their careers...

With all that, i thought i clearly had the better players... But like i said, with what i know, i dont base on team chemistry at all... you always bring up spacing... i am like, yo buddy... spacing is wack!!!...

so i dont understand why you would say your Bigs would dominate in the first half... Tree rollins was seen to be one of the best defensive centers, and Nance was a pretty good defender too... I would also think Nance's offense is better than McAdoo, while Dougherty's offense was significantly better than Rollins... but, i have the best offensive player in that first half in Dantley... Honestly, Dantley gets no respect around here, statistically speaking he is easily a top 10 offensive player in this mock...

as for the second half, you bring up the mismatch between Jones and Barkley... sure barkley is an elite scorer... but jones is the best defensive PF in this mock... still a mismatch, but not anymore than Oscar vs Hardaway...

But Robinson vs Hakeem would be fun

I think Milk might have more talent but it’s close. I do think Sushi’s fit is better. Drexler and Dantley could coexist but I would love a sharpshooter next to one of those guys.

These might be two of the best teams so this is tough. I got Sushi

not surprisingly, I thought my team was the best...

But I really don't understand basketball voting... there are some players that get weird love, while other more deserving players don't...

Agreed and it's always been like that...

Yes. But the problem became once you draft for votes you created group think that justified all of these misconceptions.

I again agree but I don't believe it can be changed now. The only way to modify that would be to bring in a bunch of new people to the drafts...

Since I beat Sushi after this round, I feel like you are referring to my team for this, and I don't think I have anyone that falls in that category. Maybe Pistol Pete, but he was taken in the last round, so that nullifies that argument.

I was thinking about drafting pistol Pete. Was debating between him and Dantley. This was before you picked him

I even asked Shane what he would do. And he told me Pete. And I commented that Pete would be for the voters. As I saw dantley to be significantly better. Now again, this is the way I analyze players so people could disagree that dantley wasn’t better. But in my research it wasn’t even close.

Don’t get enough love - Dantley, Barkley, Nique

Get too much love - Maravich, Magic...I’m sure there are more but particularly for this mock
