Bracken Kearns has been recalled and will most likely be in the line up for Pelech. Burish has officially been placed on the IR.

This is indeed a game Ive been looking forward to. STL is pretty awesome, and on the road, its by far the biggest test.... if the sharkies put in a good effort and snatch a solid W, that will be a serious statement.

ps.: i liked Pelech's game, though I suppose it doesnt much matter... why didnt Burish go on IR earlier to max the LTIR relief? or is it retroactive?

Burish was originally expected back for the 1st game of the year but he keeps having "set backs". They can and probably have retroed it to the start of the year but he won't qualify for LTIR until he misses his 10th game.

My guess as to the reason of Kearns over Pelech is to add a more speed to the 4th line without giving up anything in the physical play dept.

Adam Burish, just another brilliant signing by Dougie. Burish has been about as serviceable as Michal Handzus. Seriously, I just want Wilson to stay away from free agency from now on. Keep relying on the scouts to draft the right kids and keep calling them up at the right time.
