Yeah 11-1 they would be in the discussion at least. Hard schedule though. Still got USC at home and road games against Stanford, PITT, & BC. Think they finish 9-3 or 10-2 unfortunately

Yeah I agree. I'm not even bad at the 2 PT call anymore on the final play. It was a good play call but out line just got manhandled. If they executed we would be in OT. The decision to go for 2 when it was not called for earlier in the game is what have me livid

Notre Dame was the better team.

They dominated the total yardage and game flow.....Fumbles were killers.

Clemson was the better team at holding on to a wet a football.

kelly is good for once a year with stupid play calling that cost us a kelly. i do think kelly is a good coach but on the road he tries to out smart the home coach. ND showed they are good

They did when they were trying to run block but did a good job giving Kizer time to throw which is why it was a bad call, if they had been run blocking well the entire game I would understand but they weren't.

You keep complaining about this, but it was absolutely the correct call. It's just hindsight sour grapes.

Let's say Notre Dame kicks the extra point, then gets a field goal on the next drive. It's 21-13. They score the touchdown but miss the two point conversion. People would be angry that they kicked a worthless field goal when, had they gone for two earlier, they would have known it was worthless and gone for it on 4th Down. That situation was just as likely as what actually happened. And that's not even considering the impact on pacing.

The first time yes, the second they didn't have a choice. Of course the fumbles also hurt them but in those conditions it could always be an issue.
