It would depend on his deal. The 76ers will still have almost 40M in cap space. Redick could be resigned using the MLE on a multiple year basis. He wouldn't be making 23M again for a single year that's for sure but if he wanted a 3 year 24M contract, that's definitely do-able after signing Lebron.
Dude....they just said on ESPN that Curry is gonna be out another 3 weeks?

What the Fuck?

That's just a rumor, right?

* sorry @Sparhawk *

Go Philly!!!!

@ Philly Fans.

If the Spurs approached the 76ers and said Kawhi was available for trade, what is the most you'd be willing to give up for him?
Saric, Roco, Fultz and picks, more than one, just to start the convo.

Philly fans?

Nope.

But, LeBron could pull a Chris Paul and opt in to be traded.

Even then, Redick would have to take a steep pay cut because they don't have his bird rights.
Who thinks he should be getting $23m/year besides himself?

You're lying
Espn first take.

I'm only seeing it two places on the web so far.

One is a

not so legit site....

During the national TV broadcast of Warriors-Spurs Game 2 on Monday, TNT play-by-play commentator Kevin Harlan revealed on the air that Dubs head coach Steve Kerr expects the two-time MVP to be out for another three weeks.

Curry continues to recover from a sprained left MCL that he suffered on Mar. 23 during a game against the Atlanta Hawks. There had been some optimism that he would be ready for Round 2, but now that seems uncertain at best.

Steph Curry expected to miss another three weeks

None of the beat reporters are reporting that as of right now. But target return date would be mid second round, so another two weeks seems plausible.

Yeah, Harlan said it.

Still doesn't mean it's legit.

But, he did put it out there

Well since we're all here, PG may not play tonight due to a bruised hip? Donovan also questionable with a sore toe??

That's pretty steep for multiple picks. My bottom like would be Saric, Covington, Fultz and future 1st. Doubt the Spurs get a much better offer than last years #1 pick, two starters including one who's likely a first team ALL NBA Defense and a 1st round pick. Push comes to shove, I'd throw in this year's lottery pick instead of a future first.

New Orleans will be hell with how they're playing though. I think that's a 6 or 7 game series if Curry is not there at the start

For sure. Pelicans are playing on another level right now. But having Jrue on Klay plays to the Warriors advantage because they would be having one of their best defenders have to run of screens instead of on ball defending a lot. The matchup of Davis vs Draymond would be epic.

But I will say even if the Warriors are without Curry in the 2nd round, if they don't win, they didn't deserve a shot at the title this year. Curry needs to be at minimum 90% for the WCF for us to have a chance.

Portland better get their ish together! :D

I also think Portland doesn't commit to defense like they should - and that is a + for NO.

you think Reddick is going from making 23 a year to 8 a year?

cmon now.

It's market determined dude. There aren't too many teams this off-season that are going to be flush with cap space. The ones that are, are generally bad teams.

Redick will be 34 at the end of this season, in June. What teams do you think will offer him big money for multiple years?

Also the 23M is an outlier. It was a one year deal and Philly had to over pay. Next year they could be a real contender depending on acquisitions.

Giving up that much is twofold for me.

If they stay at 10......

That pick plus #26, Covington, Saric, Fultz should come close to matching Kawhi's first year salary leaving Philly enough to sign LeBron and maybe a discount Redick.

Again: You only do this if Kawhi is healthy.

If they get top 3?

Much tougher pill to swallow.

But, I'd still do it.

I think they will both try to play.

But, Paul was doing a Steve Nash at the end of last game getting his ass massaged while he laid on the floor.

Take that shit to the locker room....lol
