Need more from the offense than an Ellington open 3 pt attempt
Some are dumb like Winslow's to Illyasova. Others like Ellington's are horse shit calls.
That Ellington foul call was funny. I didn't know Tony Brothers was officiating tonight....it makes sense.
As far as Whiteside, yeah.....everytime Spo makes himself out to be a good coach, he does things like not go to the one advantage that we have over Philly at the moment - a dominant big that they can't defend.
Spo's playing small ball with Philly whom has more talent. We should be feeding Whiteside down low.
But Whiteside looks all but checked out at this point. Can't honestly fault him as I'd be frustrated too. You know he's going to get traded.
The Ellington one looked close but they only showed it one time. Most of the other fouls seem pretty clear though.
I agree. There's just too much at risk for my liking because if you don't hit on your draft picks, it extends your rebuilding period another 3-5 years which is why I'm more of a fan of rebuilding through free agency/trades and through the draft. It is a huge risk to build strictly through the draft. It worked out for Philly but for a lot of teams it does not.
8 fouls for Miami
0 fouls for Philly
Philly is good enough on their own where they don't need assistance from these 3 clowns

Smart move would be that if you're going to trade Whiteside in the offseason, try to make his value as high as possible. Keeping him on the bench during a playoff series seems counter productive. Maybe it's just me.
definitely think it should be raised to 7 fouls before you're done, though a good chunk of folks argue against that...
