We definitely need AT LEAST one more SP, and we need to start using the DL for the bully. Let's see what Okert has. Let's see what Broadway has. Let's see what Hall has. Let's see what Blach has (call him up for the pen for a while).

I like our current bully. I really do. But our starters are RARELY going 7, so they are getting ridden hard and put away wet. They need to breathe.

Remember that thing about not being able to come back from a loss? Perhaps the loss to the Choppers on Sunday really screwed us up for a while, we have played like dog poop since. (I jest, it's a long season, these things happen.)

Our hitting was hitting on all cylinders, I mean ALL cylinders for the first ten days after Herk came back. We are now back to earth. And our starting pitching has been borderline atrocious (THud threw a good game today.)

Why pitch him in the 9th at all?!? Why not let him throw the 8th, and then hand it to someone else in the 9th?

Bochy is pushing all the wrong buttons lately, or the buttons are failing to respond as intended.

I would love to see Okert or Broadway at some point. Not sure how much we can expect from Moses, who does keep the ball down, throws strikes, and keeps it in the yard. Those are good qualities to have, no?

It is funny how a team can go from world beaters to lower than mud just like that.

THudd pitched real well today. The failed SDI hurt, but he kept the team in it for his entire stretch. This game was won by the Pirates, not lost by anyone (except, perhaps, the bully).

We've been so good hitting with two outs this season. However, in 6 of the last 8 games, we have no 2-out RBI's. We had only 10 such games in the previous 47 games.

Today, only Aoki, Panik and Belt are hitting over .300.

Anemic.
