Hudson looking to get his groove back and hopefully it's today. Tough loss last night but the show must go on. Giants can not get swept 4 games by the Reds. I would like to see some pissed off players play a big game and send the best fans in baseball home happy for Sunday dinner.

Picks to click...Posey who was money hitting that 9th inning double in the clutch yesterday....Pence who started the 9th inning rally with a tough single off Chapman.....Morse...Time to go yard

Go Giants !!

I understand we have 2 rooks in the lineup by necessity and that we don't have a lot of options, but continuing to put Blanco in the lead off spot is conceding defeat. Hell, drop him just as a message.

Swinging at first pitches as a lead off hitter (regularly, not as an occasional thing) simply does not cut it.

However, as we all know in our hearts, pitch-taking is not something the players are ignoring on their own. It is an organizational philosophy that is taught all the way down to the lowest minor-league levels.

Posted this last night. It is now worse.

Runner at 3rd less than two outs

2014 Giants = .206 (last in the league, Orioles are best with .396) (Even the terrible hitting Padres are hitting .278 in this situation!) This is historic sukkitude right here.

2013 Giants = .301 (22nd in the league, A's were best with .383)

2012 Giants = .377 (best in baseball)

2011 Giants = .283 (26th in baseball, Rangers were best with .360)

2010 Giants = .355 (4th in baseball, Astros were best with .366)

Completely agree.

Giants are playing .750 ball when scoring first

Giants are playing .351 ball when not scoring first.

Blanco is hitting less than a buck (.091) leading off the first inning. Law of averages says he will get better? Law of averages says he sucks as a leadoff hitter. No discipline. No patience.

Our best chance to win is to score first (and often!). Blanco has shown no indication that he gives us that chance in the first inning in leading off. Why have him bat there?!?!?

Come on, Noggin, use whatever gray cells you still have up there!

FYI...

I am NOT watching or listening to the game today (by choice). I may get updates, but I refuse to put myself through this pain AGAIN.

I have other probs in my life right now that are taking care of that just fine, thank you, very much.

Take care, Cal. We will try and get a W for you.

How bad is this stretch? Since the Mutts, we are 2-11 at home. At HOME!>!>

Idiot bonehead play by Blanco, only in the lineup by default.

Well, Timmy has pitched two no-no's in a year against the same team.

I guess it is time for Bailey to throw his second no-no against the same team. Us.

Can this get any uglier or more frustrating?

Belt and Pagan coming back will help, but we need more than that at this rate. This is awful, awful baseball.

Blanco should be sent to San Jose. Now.

Best and hottest hitter is up (Posey)

Blanco is already in scoring position at 2nd.

And he tries to steal 3rd?!?!?!? And gets thrown out by 40 feet?

Good Lord.

Should be DFA.

Only 15 more outs to go against this feeble, Little League lineup.
