I've never understood the fans who said he can be an every day starter for multiple teams/great bench guy for us.

He is as you said good defensively, an alright bench guy.

His picture is right there in the dictionary next to 'Fourth Outfielder'

I think we can all agree Cain and Hudson are going to pitch back to back no-nos to split the series.

If you mean they will get 27 outs between them, I might agree with that statement.

Damn, Pagan will be owed $10 million in 2016. Wonder if he will play more games than he will make millions at that age.

20M for Cain until 2018 (when we buy him out for $7.5M).
Pence gets a 2.5M pay raise next year (18.5M until 2019)
Posey gets a 7.5M increase in salary next year

-I don't want to know what Sandoval is going to get from us.
Bright Side: Bumgarner is freaking cheap this year (750K), next year (3.75M) and followed by (6.5M), (9.75M), (11.75M), (12M)

I am trying not to look forward. The window is getting quite opaque.

Ugh, I was almost ready to think maybe we win a thriller late when we were only down 3...

Actually I meant they'd pitch real no hitters. They'll still lose though, 1-0, on errors and walks and so on.

Since NYM series

Giants hitting .216 with RISP (4 for their last 33 with RISP)

In 17 games they have scored 55 (3.23 per) and given up 84 (4.94 per)

Committed 9 errors

12 GiDP

10 2-out RBI's

36 walks (2.11 per)

Team OBP down to .300

Record is 4-13

4-4 when scoring 1st

0-9 when not

Doesn't this just scream that we need to get on the board early? And I am sorry to repeat myself, even though Blanco is our leadoff man with Oxy out, there HAS to be another option. Mix it up. Trying to do the same old same old is not working.

9.5 game lead, 21 games over .500

Now a 2 game lead, 12 games over .500

Gotta play through it, I guess. Tough stretch, really tough. Can we right the ship? Of course, but I see little evidence of it at the moment. It's a long season.

Another cold shower...Giants lose 6-2 to Reds

Well not only did I have to watch my 4th loss in a row out at AT&T Park ,this one against Cueto who showed why he is the NL ERA leader but I also had the train ride from hell home with about 25 drunken ass college students singing at the top of their lungs out of key.

Bum had that dreaded 5 run inning in the 5th and with Cueto throwing darts out there that was pretty much the ballgame. Giants lose 6-2 scoring 2 runs on only 3 hits.

The best way I can explain this season so far goes like this.

The first 60 games or so was like honeymooning in Hawaii with your sweetheart taking warm showers together every morning , eating everything of the best and drinking Champagne until the next sunrise.

The last 20 games or so you got home from the honeymoon and found out your bride skipped out of town with Larry the handyman in your building . All there is in the cupboard is a can of baked beans and a half can of Pabst Blue Ribbon that is 3 weeks old is all that is left in the fridge. To top it off the water heater exploded and it's nothing but cold showers alone.

That about sums it up.

Man, I sure miss Hawaii.

Go Giants !!

I blame Wainwright.

He made our punch-n-Judy's think they were the '56 Yankees.

Haven't hit a lick since.
I blame BoB and his losing streak at the phone booth :)
