Not doing the line-ups but starting the game thread to note 3 things:

1. This game is on national TV (MLB TV)

2. They are wearing the orange special unis that they have like a .750 winning % with

3. They are supposed to win today according to a betting system my dad showed me: if you end a long streak (5+ games) the next game after you end the streak you get the same outcome...the Giants lost 6 in a row, then won. So they are due to win again today.

I'm tracking this on the main MLB page, in June the system is 16-4 (not as good in April or May but still)

Just watched the game. A few observations:

1. Ramos/Bailey 0-7 with one BB, but no Ks. Baileys AB B8 was atrocious.
2. Matos now hitting .240
3. RanRod may have staved off a trip to Sac for another week.
4. Bullpen: 6.1 IP 3 H 2 BB 6 K...only Camilo's ERA is over 3.

Seems like the home/road thing is real.

A huge mistake by Matos in the 8th on Wisely's 2B... there was NO WAY that ball was getting caught. Matos should have scored easily from 1st. Fortunately, Soler bailed him out.

A ball hit to the deepest part of any park in the bigs needs to be played with care. I was frustrated that ended up being a station-station hit as well, but Belli is no joke of a fielder either.

End of the day, I am not THAT upset about how that hit played out.

Brett Wisely's double off the wall would have been a home run in 29/30 ballparks according to Statcast.

But still, Matos has to score there.
