Knee buckled going first to third on a single. Ball was overthrown and he tried to score and was out by 15 feet. He pulled up lame. Probably his microfracture knee. Looked bad.

Wade should be up by tomorrow.

sadly, he's never had that. I'm hoping its a couple week thing but I fear it's season ending. Silver lining: McCarthy is raking at AAA and Wade will be back up.

If it is season ending, than he has likely played his last game as a Giant. He is the type of player FZ appears to like, but he is soooo damned streaky and he just can’t put together a full season. Kinda a light 1B FA class this year, though, so he may just be the best option. Though I wouldn’t be surprised to see him walk on his own. I would think he has had enough of this ballpark.

I think he likely has played his last game for us. The Belt Wars are just about over. I hope he has a nice graceful 5 year end to his career on an AL team in a nice small ballpark. He deserves that. Although, if he'd be willing to come back for 2/30....
