Well, normally I'd say Hudson can help so maybe we win 2-1 or something (Sale isn't God, he's just a good pitcher...the Sox pen sucks, etc) and it could still happen...but right now we're just in one of those stretches.

Now THAT's Downerism. I hardly think the Giants suck. They just aren't as good as the pace they were on up to a week ago. ANd we all knew that.

And with your rankings don't the Rockies win the division? As the meh team in a sea of suck?

I would agree with you if I had not seen the affects of the Toronto series last year. That series took every breath of air out of the lungs of every player on the team.

I know the series against Colorado matched up, calendar-wise, with Pagan's HR/injury (have I said "fuck you" to Angel Hernandez lately?), but did we go directly to Toronto after that series last year?
