News of PV's demise may have been a wee bit premature. But that double digit ERA looked pretty nasty for a few weeks, especially with how well the other pitchers were throwing.

Gotta start believing in these guys....take 2 of 3 from the Cubs, 2 of 3 from the Dogs, with a depleted a team for this last series. And no one in the division is any good, Dodgers obviously the only team to consider and they are simply not as good. Kershaw just can't pitch 60% of the time.

Bad weekend for Sharks all around.

Unfortunately, the comeback bid fell short, but it still was a memorable season. The Giants taking 2 of 3 from L.A. took a bit of that sting away. Also, let's hope that the Warriors will end the Finals in Game 5.

Understood, but the good news for both of them is that their team's season did not just come to an end two wins short of a championship.
