never said it was. if the huskies can pull this out in the fourth quarter, they're still in good shape for the playoff. The storyline would be "they pulled out a win even after sleepwalking through three quarters"

they still have a chance if they lose something like 16-14. As Oldtimer said, they'd need to win out the rest of the way, and beat USC convincingly in the Pac 12 title game so their last impression is a very good one. (they need their opponent to be USC, if USC loses the P12 South, the Huskies' P12 Championship opponent wouldn't be good enough to impress the committee) It's an uphill road at that point but there's a chance.

But if you lose 13-0, the committee will look for ways to keep you out. Even if everything I described in the previous paragraph happens. And if they're looking for ways to keep you out, you're not getting in.
