The refs?

I want to see some proof that balls were over inflated. Where did it start that balls were over inflated and that air needed to be let out? This is just in Patriot fans minds that balls were over inflated.

So the refs over inflated the balls in your mind?

If so why did they need to be inflated? They must have been under inflated then when handed to the refs if the refs had to add air into them?

So are you then saying that once the refs added air to the under inflated balls that when given back to the ball boys they determined just from the feel of them that they were now over inflated and above the legal limits?

Or did they just feel over inflated because they are use to handling under inflated balls?

The thing is once the refs are done checking and approving the balls they are to be left alone until the game is over.

The only way the refs would need to add air would be if the balls were under pressure which sends a big signal. If the ball boys would have had the pressure at the legal lowest limit the refs would have approved them as is and because Brady wants legal balls all would have been good

In all seriousness, I'm not sure if these guys are guilty of what is being suggested. Why did they delete a lot of their texts between one another and why didn't they turn them all over to the investigators from the start?

The game that they've played leaves a lot of people to believe that they were trying to hide something.

I used the same analogy on another thread: If you show up for work tomorrow and they tell you they are going to drug test you, and you refuse, does that make you a drug user?

If I were Tom Brady I wouldn't give my phone to the NFL under any circumstances. The Pats(apparently) cooperated, just not as much as the NFL wanted. It's a grey area with the NFL deciding exactly how much is enough. It's BS.

I felt Brady should get a 2 game suspension. There is no proof he asked for the balls to be underinflated but there is no way these guys are taking that much air out without him wanting it. So it's not shocking that they gave him 4 games and I won't argue against the 4 games. I can't even believe they fucked over the Patriots with that 1st round draft pick though. I mean a first round draft pick when the report said the coaching staff and brass probably didn't know a thing about it? I would have suspsended Brady for the whole year before I punished the team at all.

I wouldn't advise anyone to refuse a drug test at work. It could lead to your dismissal.

This would be easier if you just admitted you have no clue what drives web traffic and moved on. People who try to be an expert on something they have no clue about are amusing, regardless.

Thank you. This posted help me figure it out. You're retarded.

Luckily for the Pats they usually pick between # 25 and # 32. So no big deal really. I believe I read somewhere, I'm too lazy to go look up now. That BB has only had 4 players drafted in the top 10 or top 15 since he took over. Thye have a bunch of picks next year plus the experts are predicting three comp picks. They can package a bunch of picks and move up in the second if they want? They just can't move up in the 1st or 4th. Thye would have to surrender that pick. With BB who knows maybe he'd do that just to screw with Goodell?

What cracks me up, is watching the news on CNN/FOX/MSNBC and all of a sudden, there is a panel, and they're talking about 'Deflategate'.

Geez, what a crock. The whole thing is a crock.

And as I've said, I got no dog in this hunt.

Goodell has a problem with his 'discipline on a whim' method of being the boss. He rolls along, does nothing about anything, then WHAM. The New Orleans fiasco, now deflategate, along with a lot of less blown-out-of-proportion cases.

Well that's the entire thing. I don't think many are really caring that much about the actual deflation. It's the lying, covering up, and lack of cooperation that nailed them. Had Tommy boy just came forward and said "yeah, you got me" it's a fine and people laughing at him. Now it's so much worse. Pretty stupid.

The same thing happened to me. Seahawks fans have no sense of humor. You'd think the legal weed would help, but all the rain must promote moodiness, I guess.

First please find in any reports that the refs added air or that that the refs over inflated the balls. I must have missed that.

But if you do find something in the report that shows that the refs added air to the balls it would have been because the balls had less than 12.5 psi. There would be no need to add air if they werent below 12.5 psi.

And if the balls were less than 12.5 pounds psi they would have been illegal when they were handed to the refs.

Is this not correct?

Good observation. I was looking at the Jim Irsay arrest and the Falcons pumping in crowd noise for a couple years. Both got a slap on the wrist.

I don't remember you being banned. Doubt it was me. Given some of your comments around here though I'm not surprised. Really can't understand why a few people have issues with the super easy rules around here. Don't troll people on their team boards. Don't post pron. Kind of simple. :noidea:

Thing is there is little evidence if any that that is the case either, only a leap by Well's.

There's a difference between someone being guilty and proving it. I think almost everyone understands he did it and that the proof was lame. It doesn't remove that he did it. Just come clean and this all blows over months ago.

You have to comply with the NFL on THEIR terms, though. They are judge, jury and executioner. It's a pretty slippery slope they are establishing in terms of punishment.
