Well, you have to admit, that was a nice gift to "tuck" under your arm and head home. I am just speaking in general. Trust me, the league is not against the Patriots. When a team is finally able to create a dynasty against all odds of their past, they start to favor that team a bit more when it comes to penalties, sports show talk, etc.

I watched NFL AM last week after we went to 3-0. 4 hours of show, and 30 seconds of mention regarding the Bengals that was separated into two mentions. #1 in the power rankings, 3-0 start, razzle dazzle plays, and the only real mention was a game recap that consisted of one clip and that was the Dalton TD catch against the Titans.

We are in purgatory right now. Not doing bad enough the media has to talk about us needing change, about things needing blown up, about how players are quitting and giving their all, players being arrested, etc, but also have not been good enough, long enough to warrant any real coverage that is positive outside the occasional blip on the radar.

I'm worried that New England's defense will show up and we'll have a pitching duel..... As bad as New England has been on offense, I'd still put a lot of faith in Brady to win a tight one in the 4th quarter. Unless we can get a magical monsoon like last season.
