I think the Flyers need a pep talk from Vadered!!
WARNING: THE FOLLOWING CONTENT IS NOT SAFE FOR MINORS. JUST LETTING YOU MOTHERFUCKING ASSHOLES KNOW.
Devils - Fuck you for being better at forechecking at us. Fuck you for having an arena with ice so bad in the third it would be too rough for a friction test. Fuck you for having your goalie absolutely annihilate us whenever we dump the puck in low. Fuck you for checking Hartnell into your own goalie and somehow ending up on the power play. Fuck you for living in New Jersey.
Flyers - Fuck you, forwards, for fleeing the offensive zone the second anyone in orange gets near the puck and not fucking supporting them. Fuck you, defensemen, for repeatedly trying to make the cute play instead of the safe play. Fuck you, everyone who keeps trying to dump the puck in low. Fuck you, Claude Giroux, for getting two points and then taking a moronic penalty because ur mad, bro. Fuck you, Bryzgalov, for playing well and not giving me anything to slam you about last game. And fuck you, everyone, for your inability to play a full game.
What Lavi should tell the team today:
Gather round, boys, because we are using our fucking series timeout, right fucking here, right fucking now! There's another game tomorrow. The word game is used intentionally here, as the Devils were toying with us all game long in the last three. That CANNOT happen again. We are going back to our arena, where we are going to RUN THEM THE FUCK OVER. No more playing cute. No more blind reverses behind our net, or deking as the last man. No more idiotic penalties. Because - and listen to me, assholes, because I am saying this only one fucking time - WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS. I don't care if we go out there and play our style of hockey and lose by seventy goals, because maybe, just maybe if we do that, we won't shit all over our team's dignity like we have these last three "contests." The Devils are strong. They are fast. They have a great goalie. But you know what? We're strong. We're fast. We have a goalie and he's been great too. But we haven't shown that. We haven't DESERVED to win this series. We need to get on that ice, and fucking ram the puck so hard down their FUCKING throats that they have to see a rectal specialist. We need to hit them so hard they won't know what SPORT they play. We need to jam the puck around the boards so high and fast ol' grandpa Brodeur breaks his fucking hip trying to track it. We need to remind them what Flyers hockey is all about - quick breakouts, hard forecheck, traffic in front of the net. This series isn't over unless we let it be. Now go, guys. Take a look in the mirror, and see what a loser looks like. Then come back tomorrow and show me what a winner looks like.
SHIT
not much more to say
I can't believe Giroux thinks Zubrus leaned into that...come on man. I mean, he makes a point about the league not looking at other hits, but your's was pretty darned obvious Claude.
Holy shit the Flyers fans are running. WTF?
Its 3-1 and not over by a long stretch. Certainly not the ideal situation I agree but not one that is a loss cause. Win game 5. That is all the Flyers should be worried about. I seem to recall a series that the Flyers had been down 3-0 in and won.
Well I would suspect Giroux to be gone for game 5. Lavy is to blame in my mind for letting his team focus on the wrong things. I dont know if the Pens series wiped them out or not but they sure do not look like the same team now.
For sure it is gonna be rough to win 3 in a row but this team has the skill it really comes down to desire now.
How do we think the G suspension affects game five? Think it'll motivate the Flyers? Or do we think it'll kill their already struggling power play and demoralize them into a hometown exit?
Not the same thing but still. When we lost Horton the team rallied big time. All depends on the team. If they wanna pout about it then they will get killed but they may rally.
Either way i want to see a great game 5 out of the flyers.
