Gather round, boys, because we are using our fucking series timeout, right fucking here, right fucking now! There's another game tomorrow. The word game is used intentionally here, as the Devils were toying with us all game long in the last three. That CANNOT happen again. We are going back to our arena, where we are going to RUN THEM THE FUCK OVER. No more playing cute. No more blind reverses behind our net, or deking as the last man. No more idiotic penalties. Because - and listen to me, assholes, because I am saying this only one fucking time - WE ARE BETTER THAN THIS. I don't care if we go out there and play our style of hockey and lose by seventy goals, because maybe, just maybe if we do that, we won't shit all over our team's dignity like we have these last three "contests." The Devils are strong. They are fast. They have a great goalie. But you know what? We're strong. We're fast. We have a goalie and he's been great too. But we haven't shown that. We haven't DESERVED to win this series. We need to get on that ice, and fucking ram the puck so hard down their FUCKING throats that they have to see a rectal specialist. We need to hit them so hard they won't know what SPORT they play. We need to jam the puck around the boards so high and fast ol' grandpa Brodeur breaks his fucking hip trying to track it. We need to remind them what Flyers hockey is all about - quick breakouts, hard forecheck, traffic in front of the net. This series isn't over unless we let it be. Now go, guys. Take a look in the mirror, and see what a loser looks like. Then come back tomorrow and show me what a winner looks like.

What really boggles my mind is NJ is dominating the Flyers in every zone. I really thought the Flyers had plenty of speed up front. The Devils are making them look like SNAILS. If it weren't for Bryzgalov the last three games would have been blowouts. I can't believe I just typed that.

Its 3-1 and not over by a long stretch. Certainly not the ideal situation I agree but not one that is a loss cause. Win game 5. That is all the Flyers should be worried about. I seem to recall a series that the Flyers had been down 3-0 in and won.

This series is a mess because the Devils are playing the ultimate team game all over the ice and the Flyers are not.

It's fucking depressing to watch because it should be far worse. The only reason the Flyers are even competitive in this series is because of their skill up front and Bryz occasionally standing on his head. The Flyers are completely off their game. They don't know what to do anymore. They're completely lost and it shows game after game.

The Devils are accomplishing what they want out on the ice virtually every shift while the Flyers only do it half a dozen times a game. To me, it's nothing short of a miracle that game three was close enough to go to overtime and that game four was a one goal game.

I remember when we were down 3-1 to the flyers to come back like it was yesterday.I'll say it again its a 7 game series its not over

After the Flyers went up 2-0 early in game four, I remember telling my dad over the phone that they had to keep pressing and even harder or it would still be a loss. Of course the Devils score while I'm still on the phone and the fucking game is tied three minutes later. That's so deflating as a fan that I can't even imagine it as a player.

Call it fucking foreshadowing. It's embarrassing that I can point that out and yet our players STILL let it happen THAT quickly.

The Flyers NEED to get back to a physical brand of hockey or this will end in Philly. The emotion and physicality of the last series just isn't there, but it needs to be.

Laviolette is also either being outcoached by DeBoer and/or his players just aren't executing NEARLY as well.

Ultimately, the Devils appear to play team defense MUCH, MUCH better than the Flyers and it has changed everything the Flyers want to do.

I still find it extremely difficult to figure out how the Devils skate circles around the Flyers virtually all game long. The Flyers have a lot of speed on their team with Voracek, JvR, Read, Wellwood and more.

I'll be honest I don't like it. This could be a wakeup call for the Flyers. It'll force other guys to step up, similar to when Kovy was out for us in game 2. In theory having the star of the other team out is great, in reality? We shall see.

Not the same thing but still. When we lost Horton the team rallied big time. All depends on the team. If they wanna pout about it then they will get killed but they may rally.
