Hell I don't even like the fighting in hockey.... But I love a good clean hit.

Fighting has it's place. I don't like the "staged" fights or retaliatory after a hard clean hit. 2 quick ones by the Devils.

I agree, but a hip check is hip to hip. Stevens hit him low, close to the knee.

Was the Pens defense THAT bad or the Flyers a little down emotionally after that series (plus the Devils defense is much better)

MAF was terrible for most of that series too.

i agree, it reminds me of the crowds in the 90s, REAL playoff hockey is finally back in nj. after years of being spoiled the devils and their fans had a few bad years, the way some ended were horrible, and we all needed that to learn how to want it again rather than expect it. its great. hope they can sustain this pressure for the next two periods. and stay outta the box!
