2. David Pollack
3. Champ Bailey
4. Roquan Smith
5. Nick Chubb(still good post injury, but pre injury, he was every bit as good as Gurley)

Come on any OU list starts with one of the best defensive linemen in history anywhere. My list in terms of pure talent.

1. Lee Roy Selmon
2. Marcus Dupree (most talented RB to ever breathe.
3. Billy Sims
4. Adrian Petersen (generational back)
5. Keith Jackson (helped revolutionize the position)

Now my list in terms of what they actually accomplished:

1. Lee Roy Selmon
2. Billy Sims
3. Roy Williams
4. Baker Mayfield
5. Adrian Petersen

Honestly only 5 isn’t deep enough here, slights so many great players.

2. Marcus Dupree (most talented RB to ever breathe. The sad part is that this is true.

Joe Washington should be on that list somewhere.
Sam Bradford wasn't bad.

2. 2nd favorite Hesiman winner (Eddie George)
3. 3rd favorite Heisman winner (Howard "Hopalong" Cassidy)
4. 4th favorite Heisman winner, or the best OSU player not to win the Heisman . . . Orlando Pace.
5. 5th favorite Heisman winner, or the best defensive player not to win the Heisman, Randy Gradishar

I was going to disclaimer Selmon was before my time and only saw highlights etc...

Sam Bradford wasn't bad.

They are both in the conversation, personal preference all that separates several of them. Brian Bosworth was one of the best linebackers in the history of college football, hard to leave him out too.

I was just never a Boz fan.
But there are certainly enough for a list of 10 instead of 5.
