I know he had a hot week recently.

But hitting leadoff is a lot of pressure on a young rookie. Not sure what the options are, really, but Matos' average has plummeted.

Soler has been bad in men on situations but Bailey can't get thrown out on a fly ball... so bad and unlucky. I wonder if he ever regresses to the mean, that is have more luck and hit better with men on base.

I think that’s more about reverting to the mean rather than hitting leadoff
