Jesus these guys LOVE leaving AT&T where they can actually hit in parks like Cinci, Houston, Colorado....

Last year at this time, we were all looking at the team and not sure where the wins were coming from.

This year, I think the team is actually much better. Incredibly deep lineup and solid bully. The SP is the only thing I think is happening with mirrors and not sustainable.

Pence coming back was huge. Hitters parks also huge. If the pitching fades they will get someone in July. If we stay healthy maybe we avoid the odd year curse.

This team may be the best team we have had in this stretch. And I think we have enough MLB ready talent on the farm to either trade for a big piece (Cueto or Hamels) or to provide the support themselves.

Of course, if we end up losing either game today, we have to talk about what we can sell and how much we can get for each piece...

Thus is the life of fickle fans.

BoB, we're all fans here, kind of friendly, I want to ask you a serious question. Not being mean. What exactly is your reasoning for posting the score like that? Just the score. Is there anyone on this thread that doesn't know the score of the game? I'm genuinely curious.

You never know what might happen…injuries, slumps, etc. But I wonder if trading for a starter might be the big move come June/July.

Of course, if Cain can come back after the all star break, it will be like trading for a possibly good arm.

I'm thrilled that this team has some young, cheap talent in the infield and possibly in Heston. Gives the front office some flexibility going forward.

At Coors, I am OK with this start from Heston.

I hate Coors.
