A big win but losses of Matt Cain and Casilla make this one bitter sweet.

Sandoval with a big HR. Crawford with a blast and a great DP on defense.

Pence hit a HR. Sanchez nice 2B.

Just a bummer about Cain and Casilla and it's wait and see about what happens next with the staff.

Giants win 5-1 and go back up 3 games in the West.

Giants now will be tested once again with injuries. Everyone has to step up again.

Runzler is doing very well, but is walking way too many people. (18 IP, 12 H, 13 W, 21 K, 1.00 ERA, 1.39 WHIP) last ten games, 11.1 IP, 8 H, 10 W, 14K)

Hembree (15 IP, 19 H, 6 W, 19 K, 3.00 ERA, 1.67 WHIP)

Heston is doing well as a starter, (8 GS, 46.2 IP, 41 H, 10 W, 37 K, 3.28 ERA, 1.09 WHIP)

Who do we look to for the pen?

Among relievers at least we have some alternatives - Hembree, Dunning, Kontos, Runzler, Bochy, maybe Law. But I don't know about options and running clocks and all that stuff.

Anyone know anything about Mason Tobin in Fresno? 2.04 ERA in 11 games.

If Cain misses a start or three, might be interesting to bring up Jason Berken from Fresno.
