4-3 good guys.
At this point, I don't understand why Belt hasn't been put on the IL. He hasn't started in 7 of the last 8 games and only appeared as a pinch hitter in one game, and that was after his last start.Buster sits; Belt STILL out (is he dead?)

I'm not sure there are many other options for Kapler in today's lineup. Longoria is lucky to still be in the 4th spot, how much he's been scuffling of late. Ruf is an interesting number 2 hitter. That one seems a little more strange choice to me.Craw batting 3?
The way he is swinging it, I get it, but still surprising to see.
2nd inning wasn't pretty but Casali got a hit!Was in a meeting for the first inning. Looks like I saved myself a pair of diapers in that bottom of the frame.
Inefficient first inning, but so far Mahle is just as bad from a pitches thrown perspective.
If they keep grinding ABs against him, he won't last into the sixth.2nd inning wasn't pretty but Casali got a hit!
The announcers keep talking about how Mahle gets better as he gets deeper in the game. Those 3 weak grounders certainly suggest that could happen.
They need to go back to what they were doing in the 1st inning. If they keep grinding ABs against him, he won't last into the sixth.
Its time for the Giants to bust this game open.52 pitches to record 6 outs...not sure how much "deeper" Mahle can go in this game.
