I'm just here to troll everyone
I suspect over time that evolves too, with consolidation. Or heck maybe the leagues just take over broadcasting their product with no middle man, and baseball games are watched through MLB.com and football games through NFL.com etcyep.... worked in that industry for many years, so no surprise. streaming isn't my issue. my issue is the amount of accounts you'll need (prime, peacock, apple tv+, roku, netflix, xfinity, fox....) to see games we're used to seeing broadcast in the giant's market area.
of course you can get the mlb channel. and for other seasonal sports there will be the nba channel, nfl channel,pac12.comacc channel, pga channel. won't grow interest in the sport if/when it all flips to essentially pay
