Lets watch that ranking climb batches!!!
I'm not sure they will climb a lot of this win but beating U$C would be a different story.
Permission to Commence nut swinging sir?Today was a good day. ND wins big in spite of their play calling. Michigan chokes at home.
Well, despite ND going to Michigan State and crushing them and only suffering a 1 pt loss to a good Georgia team, I am betting Michigan still ends up ahead of ND in the polls.
Don't look now, but the back half of the schedule sets up to be very difficult.
USC, NC State, Miami and Stanford should all be ranked today IMO. Navy has an outside chance and Wake is a respectable 4-2. While difficult, comes a great opportunity. Not saying we'll win out, but if we did, by chance, we might be a CFP team. Every game is extremely winnable. ESPN's FPI(take it for what it's worth) has ND winning out at home and basically says the two road games are toss ups.
My guess is we end up 9-3 which I'll be fine with.
The next three games will be telling.Don't look now, but the back half of the schedule sets up to be very difficult.
