I was referring to the U.S. no longer having a AAA rating from S&P. S&P downgraded it from AAA to AA+. The U.S. credit rating hasn't been downgraded since 1917.

Moody kept it AAA, but they also said that could change at any time.

I don't know. They're basically the Nation's version of Equifax & the other two names that escape me for individuals. They downgraded a few other nations' ratings in '98 (Italy was one of 'em & a few others), but they've never touched the U.S. rating 'til now. This could be huge, but I guess we'll find out on Monday.
