Doesn't really matter, though. Without a QB, it is VERY hard to win in this league.

Frank hasn't been running well all game. The o line has been terrible. If Kap doesn't fumble we win. Simple as that.

Actually looked like he fumbles when his elbow hit, which also looked to be in the end zone.

Not clear, granted. But more clear than ruling that a fumble on the field.

Should've been a TD. A combination of bad luck and poor play. A fitting end for this game where seemingly everyone on offense played like crap.

I don't argue that at all. I do believe, though, that he is NOT a franchise QB, and the search must be on.

No one. There are about 6 dependable QBs in the league.

Can't close out a game..song remains the same. This is just bad play calling...how many times do have we gone to Crab on this same play at the end of big games...net result is a lose every time. Maybe Sherman was right. And calling pass on 2nd and 2.5 is a poor call...run it twice to Gore and its done. QB sneak is just so full of problems mainly you can"t launch to get over the pile or pick a soft spot. Notice the only times we go under center was at end of game and of course we get a bad exchange from center on the method we don't practice all game with our new center. Man the OL was bad today.

Agree, although, I am not so convinced he is better than Smith. Smith had HORRIBLE coaches so was never able to get his feat under him. (I am not re-opening this convo, just making a quick point -- I thought at the time, and think now that the trade was a good trade).

I am just of the mindset that in the NFL, the WORST place you be is in the middle. Very hard to get out of the middle. You win at the top, and you eventually win at the bottom. You flounder in the middle.

Smith and Kap are interchangeable at best. Kap has more big play ability but Smith used to have games that were 100x worse than this. People didn't even like smith when he was here. It was only after he left that people were saying he was so amazing.

3 clear calls and refs and replay get it wrong. I don't get it. Im so sick of this shit and how refs help with out come of games.

I only see Hoyer, Sanchize, & Locker as possibilities. Hoyer might be better but the other 2 definitely are not. Maybe you can trade for Johnny football if Cle signs Hoyer to a long extension.

But seriously, unless SF drafts a QB, for better or worst, you are stuck with Kap through 2015.

Yup.

I do not believe in trading for a QB. With very few exceptions, franchise QBs are only available in the draft. And if you aren't getting a franchise QB, don't waste your time.
