Looking at the standing "By League" at not especially Entertaining and sometimes SPorts Network the Niners look to be drafting 16th at the lowest and maybe 14th the earliest....Is that correct? I am not sure of all the rules when teams are tied for overall record. What is the earliest the Niners could draft if they lose today and what is the latest if they win?

i agree, we dont make playoffs next year baalke and york will get alot of backlash. happy to see roman gone. Harbaugh called a great game. Kap played awesome.

I think we are either 15th or 14th. The 12 playoff teams will be picking 21 to 32*. Of the non-playoff teams, the Bills, Chargers, Chiefs, Eagles, and Texans all have better records than us, so those teams will take up the picks from 16 to 20. We have the same record as the Dolphins and I'm not sure how the NFL determines who has the higher pick in that situation.

* Actually, I'm not sure if we get the higher pick over Carolina, but it would seem unfair if we didn't.

I'm hearing some rumors from the polls that the 49ers might sneak into the playoffs today after beating the Cards. It seems voters are not very high on the Cards now that they are down to a back alley QB. They apparently needed an Ohio St like win today to maintain voter faith. It's not a lock but voters were impressed by the 9ers today.

We just didn't take care of business. Looking back, perhaps we were doomed from the beginning because the front office didn't want Harbaugh to come back after this season whether the team won or lost. With that kind of instability at the top, it's no surprise we performed poorly on the field.

Give you credit for what? Saying that Harbaugh would be fired after reading an article that nobody argued the validity of?
Just admit you were wrong. Actually i dont even care that you were wrong about Jed York having a press conference, But I do have a problem with saying that I was wrong and then making up some BS as the reason i was wrong. Thats fucked up. Then posting a link with quotes that clearly just happened minutes ago as evidence and proclaiming your win, thats pretty childish, dude.
