I don't know. At that point there was still some kind of life-line remaining for him, like not having a competent QB on the roster to replace him with. With Gabbert playing well, that life-line no longer exists.

Arizona defense played Kaep perfectly. That was enough blueprint for other teams to learn off.

gabbert looks good. im more interested in seeing him play seattle then i will pass judgement. coaching staff stated they wanted to make the change against this D. overall gabbert looks good making some nice throws. OC is still calling some dumb play calls and mangini is dumb on that last drive. need to double jones there.

i think if gabbert does well the next 2 weeks he will stay the starter. i do think he has made plays kap wouldnt have made in this game.

I want Gabbert to succeed but Seattle is a fair benchmark. This game, I can't tell if our offensive line is playing better or if Atlanta's pass rush is just bad. Less penalties is also helps.
