The 9ers have seen enough of him and are actively trying to trade him. He will get a bunch of playing time today to show case him. per NFL network

Good thing we had so many picks this year. Don't see much of a market for Colt, but we'll see....

I figured this would happen but I thought it would be after the game to see if he could rebound. The Jets might bite ,but I don't see many other teams interested.

Bills have both first and second string QBs injured
Jets well lolz

When you bring in Matt Leinhart to work out for ya a 4th or 5th round pick might seem worth it

Also said a few teams were already calling about McCoy after week 2. Now with more injuries to QBs teams are even more desperate

When the 9ers are talking trade ,what do you think we could get from the Bills or Jets? I'm trying to figure this one out....a draft pick or a player?

The Jets came to mind first for me: Geno not playing well ,Sanchez the same and injured ,HC on the the chopping block. Both the Bills and the Jets should have persued Alex Smith this off season.

Granted the whole offense has looked pretty rough in the preseason games so far, but I wouldn't think McCoy has shown anything that would make another team think he can start for them even in a pinch. Maybe a big game tonight, certainly there are jobs out there if he can show something.

Maybe we'll get a bag of powdered doughnuts...although...the Jets seem to be the most likely suckers in this scenario at present.

If we do trade him I see a 6th or 7th rd pick. Another mistake by Baalke but I like how to man up to it. Some Gms will keep players because they dont want to show that they made a mistake. First Jenkins and now Colt.

Overall we will be find with out both.

I don't view this as much of a mistake. Based on the traditional value chart, we traded the equivalent of a late seventh round pick for him. Especially given that we had 15 picks at the time, that's basically nothing.

We would be lucky to get a 7th for Colt. He will most likely have to pick up a new offense wherever he goes and that will take time.

Boy is that Colt McCoy pick up coming back to bite us, maybe we should have taken a look at Wallace to start with.

Apparently the 49ers and Colt's agent re-did his contract to give Colt a better chance of staying on the team. He is making vet minimum now.

A waste of time anyway. This guy is not an NFL quarterback.
