For me it was more penalties than getting beat Purguy I don't recall him getting beat much this year mostly got flags more often then I wanted from the Irish's top O-Lineman.
Yes but its still part of the game. Again I am a fan of him. Not bashing him. I just like Tunsil better.

It is but when you said he didn't have a good year you left it open to mean a lot of things to me the penalties are correctable getting beat because you aren't athletic enough to play the position isn't.

Yes and no some players just make penalties. I do think he will be a good player for what ever team picks him. I also think he will be fine is that category.

Now that QB will go 1 and 2. 49ers will have their options for a top prospect. Good news for us.

Sitting at #7, we always knew we'd get a top prospect.
Yes but now we know as fans what to expect. No more will we get a QB or wont we. We now know we will grab either Buckner, Stanley or trade down. Maybe we take a QB in the 2nd or 3rd rd now.

To me if Stanley and Tunsil are off the board then trade down a few spots and take a different O-lineman or Ragland at ILB.

Top two gone. Kap still in limbo, looking toward Gabbert now as the QB. JMO but I think the value of a Kap trade went way up.

not going to read thru the thread, but i recall most of us wanted Goff EARLY on, before the Rams big trade up. afterward i believe Buckner gathered a lot of support as draft day neared?

for me, i was certainly fine with Buckner, but was thinking Stanley. At the time, we had no idea Brown was this good. i thought he'd be too 'winded' to remain effective in Kelly's offense. Also at the time, AD hadn't applied for reinstatement yet.

Yeah my order was:
1)Buckner
2)stanley (any idea how good he is playing)
3)If we went QB Goff.

When we traded up I thought we were going QB or WR.

Yes, I wanted Goff. Still think he could be a good QB. Just might need time. Wouldn't have traded up like the Rams did.

So I keep hearing about this Kizer kid from Notre Dame. Now, I don't care for the stats because they're so misleading in a lot of cases...he had something like 400 yards passing and whatnot. That's great and all but, I like seeing what the player is made of when the chips are down. Against Duke, Kizer had an opportunity with about 2 minutes left in the game, and quite frankly folded as far as I could see.

Has that been a tendency or did I just catch him at the wrong time?

To be fair that is the 1st time I have seen Kizer choke. The kid can ball. U caught him at the wrong time. Im a ND fan and watched every game and he is usually clutch. That was the 1st time I was like damn he choked.

Kizer looks like he could be one of the top QBs drafted this coming draft and it looks like we will be competing with Cleveland for the top QB prospects.
