There were drops by a number of players. Goodwin did have one drop that I must have missed. I missed part of the third quarter. He made a good catch on a poorly thrown ball. He was open deep twice getting past the secondary and would have been off to the races if the passes were thrown better. Beathard doesn't have a strong arm. Goodwin was dropping everything early in the season but it looks like that has been improving as the season has gone on.

Beathard had about as good a game as you can expect from him, while taking a full scale beatdown and watching his pass catchers failing to catch a lot of those passes. He's got his warts, but offensively, he was the least of my concerns.

He did? I must've missed it. I know I saw a lot of passes dropped by receivers all over the place, and Beathard take an ass-kicking. I have to question the strategy of letting the rookie QB drop back 50 plus times and rarely giving him some easy qick throws as well as the limited attemps at running the ball.

Yep, Goodwin knocked down more passes than any Defensive Back in the game. He did catch one deep ball which was a nice catch. Kittle played good defense on a lot of the passes thrown to him as well. Bourne and Brieda, the same. It was absurd.

I feel for the guy. He is a crash test dummy. Asking a lot for a rookie to play behind that oline.

He did OK. Other than that one pass he threw into the back of Trent brown's helmet that bounced up and got picked he was doing well. When he got time he was fairly accurate.

He really has no "go to" guy that he can count on either now that Garcon is out. He soldiered on and did a credible job I thought. The fumble by the fullback cost them 10 points and the pick off of Brown's massive dome cost another three points at least.

.......and let's not forget the ridiculous penalties on third down that really cost the team; both offensively and defensively.

Wow! Kilgore comes off looking really bad. He's supposed to be the anchor in there.

He has been looking pretty bad most of the season. Never expected him to be a great center but at least a decent one. But he has regressed. He is ranked among the worst centers in the NFL. He gets overpowered by larger interior lineman on passing downs and gets no push on rushing downs. He is a free agent at the end of the season. I think he will probably be gone or at most just a backup C/OG
