Since the pass protect seems to be holding up, lean on the run game during practice. Even without McKinnen and Breida, the linemen have to get more in sync.

There NEEDS to be a decent run game, enough to make defenses play it.

Good points. The pass blocking has looked better than I expected. If that run blocking doesn't improve...smh

We'll take good pass blocking first, cause Garoppolo has to stay healthy. I'd think the run blocking will improve too, once the final five plays together somewhat?

Not to say the O-line becomes a top Unit, but enough to get the run game respectable. We also read the TE is a key blocker too, so include Kittle getting in there.

For now i'd go with who we have....Breida, Morris, and Mostert. Consider Joe Williams or one of the others just cut, if you really need another RB for game 1. Reason is they already know the supposedly complicated play book.
